Iran’s Taftian finishes fourth in 100m final: 2022 Hangzhou

TEHRAN – Iranian sprinter Hassan Taftian came fourth in the final round of the 100m in the 2022 Asian Games on Saturday.
Taftian finished the cross in the men’s 100m with a time of 10.14 seconds.
Zhenye Xie of China won the gold medal, clocking 9.97, followed by Thailand’s Puripol Boonson (10.02) and Malaysian Muhammad Azeem Bin Mohd Fahmi (10.11).
With more than 12,000 competitors from 45 nations and territories, the 2022 Asian Games has more participants than the Olympics.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
